The Cresta Run was inaugurated during 1884-1885 winter season and since then it is very popular among the visitors of St. Moritz. Covering the Cresta Run is fascinating, an adventure with a small hint of danger which will make your adrenaline level rise instantly. It is obvious: anyone who tries it once will want to repeat it again and again.
The Cresta Run is covered lying in a skeleton (simple sled), reaching speeds from 90 to 140 km / h.
If you have never used a skeleton, an instructor for beginners is available who will teach you the main techniques. And if you like this sport it shall be possible to join the private club of the Cresta Run, with members troughout the world.
The Cresta Run stays open approximately since the end of December until the beginning of March.
